Based on the information gathered by Nigerian Politics, the Commissioner’s sack is alleged to be related to his comments at a recent media engagement.
Tamuno’s sack came shortly after he hosted a media conference where he threatened to shut down firms responsible for emitting any form of soot in the state.
The former Commissioner during the media speech had promised that the Ministry of Environment and relevant stakeholders would collaborate to increase monitoring of air quality at various parts of the state.
